Conor McGregor observed Jose Aldo overcome Chad Mendes in a dramatic spell on Oct. 25, but former UFC champ Lyoto Machida does not believe McGregor has what it takes to dethrone the reigning champ.
“If you are likely to compare him to Jose Aldo, Aldo is technically better,” Machida told MMAFighitng.com. “(McGregor) is a tough fighter, he is coming out powerful, but you can not say he defeats Aldo. Aldo is overly dominant.”
