LAS VEGAS – Sounds like Dominick Cruz will not have to wait long to get a chance to recover the gold he never lost in the cage.
The former UFC and WEC bantamweight champ formed a dramatic return to the Octagon on Saturday night following a three-year layoff. Cruz (20-1) wanted just over a minute to end Takeya Mizugaki, who came to the fight on a five-fight win streak, at UFC 178.
