In the aftermath of footage surfacing of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice attacking his fiance, UFC president Dana White was asked for his view how National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell has managed the situation.
“Itis a difficult one,” White said Wednesday night on FOX Sports Live. “First of all the video is horrifying. Utterly horrifying. You are referring to a man who is been in the fight company since he was 19 years old. It’s the most upsetting thing you’ll ever see. The matter that is equally as awful as the clout is the fact that he shows no remorse after he does it. You know, if you did something in rage and also you go, ‘Oh my god. What did I do?’ There is none of that with this particular man. I do not understand all the ins and outs of what Roger Goodell did or understood or how it was managed but it is undoubtedly awful. I am able to let you know this: I would not need to be Roger Goodell.”
