BRASILIA, Brazil — Leonardo Santos returned to the win line on Saturday night in Brasilia, Brazil, but his triumph over fellow The Ultimate Fighter victor Efrain Escudero was more demanding than he anticipated.
The Nova Uniao lightweight did not seem nicely during Friday’s official weigh-ins at the Nilson Nelson gymnasium, and after his unanimous decision victory he told MMA Fighting that he hardly slept the night before he stepped on the scale.
