Out of action since May, Erick Silva will be back to the Octagon in December. The UFC declared on Tuesday that the Brazilian welterweight will take on Mike Rhodes at UFC Fight Night 58 in Barueri, Brazil, on Dec. 20.
Silva (16-5, 1 no contest) continues his quest for uniformity in the UFC after enduring a TKO loss in a epic brawl with Matt Brown in May. The prior Jungle Fight winner went 4-3 in his preceding seven bouts in the Octagon, winning all of his UFC fights inside the initial round.
