Quinton Jackson is no longer under contract with Bellator MMA — at least as far as “Rampage” is concerned.

Jackson said Saturday night on FOX Sports Live that Bellator did not honor his deal and, after 45 days of his manager trying and failing to fix things, he terminated the pact. The UFC announced Saturday night during the UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Dollaway broadcast that “Rampage” had re-signed with the organization.

Jon Jones on explicit UFC 182 promotion: "A lot of people want me to be the bad guy"

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — By now it’s pretty clear the promotional angles for UFC 182 differ greatly from those of most other major UFC pay-per-views.

The biggest culprit for that is the chain of events that took place in early August, when a scuffle between light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier tumbled off the stage in the MGM Grand, then continued in expletive-laden form as the two bickered across a live (but assumedly off-the-record) television signal for a majority of the afternoon.

Morning Report: Conor McGregor talks "weird" signing of "afraid" CM Punk

UFC featherweight contender Conor McGregor seems a bit torn over the promotion’s decision to allow a retired professional wrestler with no competitive experience whatsoever to compete alongside him in the sport’s premier organization.

McGregor understands the appeal of wrangling the elusive and dreaded ‘casual fan,’ but would have preferred for 36-year-old CM Punk to first prove himself elsewhere.

Dana White says Claudia Gadelha’s late punch a ‘totally different scenario’ than Paul Daley’s

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Claudia Gadelha and Joanna Jedrzejczyk shared more than a few harsh words throughout UFC on FOX 13’s fight week, and those feelings didn’t stop once the fight ended.

In a scene reminiscent of Paul Daley’s infamous sucker punch of Josh Koscheck, Gadelha whacked Jedrzejczyk with a right hook several seconds after the horn signaled the end of Saturday’s strawweight contender fight.

Signal to Noise: UFC 181"s finest and worst

UFC 181 offered up a lot to love and loathe. The grade of the primary card was high, the whole event featured a collection of combatant comebacks, along with a fresh winner was crowned. In the flip side, a guy greatly unqualified to be there was declared with great fanfare.

it is time separate the good in the poor, the finest from the worst and the sign in the sound.

Morning Report: Dana White looking to publication CM Punk against "a man who"s 1-0, 1-1, 2-1"

We do not understand why, when, what weight or against who, but CM Punk certainly will fight in the UFC.

The why (cash), when (mid 2015), weight (185 pounds), where (Chicago, Illinois) can all sort of be deduced, but who the former WWE star will face in the Octagon is an infinitely more interesting question.
