Mike Goldberg apologizes for social media outburst after NFL on FOX debut

Longtime UFC play-by-play man Mike Goldberg apologized on Tuesday for his Twitter outburst this past weekend.

Goldberg worked the booth for a game between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings on FOX this past Sunday — the first of two NFL games he was slated to work — and received criticism for his performance via the social media platform of Twitter. Goldberg shot back at his detractors on Sunday afterwards, calling one critic a “douche” and telling another, “dude f— you.”

Nick Diaz pleads not guilty to DUI charges

According to a report from ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, UFC welterweight Nick Diaz has plead not guilty to two DUI charges in San Joaquin County Court in California on Thursday.

As previously reported by MMA Fighting, Diaz was detained on both September 6th of 2014 and November 20, 2013, both for driving under the influence. Diaz faces charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence having an alcohol or drug level above .08, and dangerous speed for prevailing conditions.

Joe Rogan bashed a hornet’s nest, then attempted to attribute the stick. Oh, and then news surfaced that Nick Diaz was detained for an alleged DUI, and an array of further infractions in its immediate wake, followed by the disclosure this was not his first such violation. Consider that with the terrible news coming forth from the NFL this week, and it is enough to make even the most serious contact sports enthusiast need to shut off their computer for awhile and get a hike.
